NPSO 2016 Annual Meeting

Schedule of Events

Unless otherwise noted, all locations will be at the McKenzie Conference Center (US Basketball Academy). You must be registered for the meeting to go on a field trip and you must have pre-paid for meals to eat food provided by the venue. Please note that the schedule is subject to change.

Friday, July 15

11 a.m. and on. Meeting check-in begins in the entrance to Jim Schmit Great Hall. Packet pick-up. Move into your rooms now or later in the day. Park vehicles in large area outside Great Hall when gear has been unloaded. Check-in will be open until just before dinner.

12:45 to 1 p.m. Gather in grassy area east of Great Hall for field trip groups listed in your registration notification. Field trips depart at 1 and return at 4-4:30+. If you did not sign up for a field trip, you can do a self-guided trip based on handout provided.

3 p.m. Vendors may begin setting up around the edges of Great Hall.

4 p.m. Dining hall open for meet and greet and to visit vendor tables. Check bulletin board for messages.

5:30-7:00 p.m. Taco bar dinner in Great Hall (BYO wine or beer; soft drinks provided).

7:00-8:30 p.m. Evening Program:
   • Welcoming remarks, Emerald Chapter President, Steven Yeager
   • Oregon Flora Project Sponsorship Campaign kick-off, Gail Baker
   • Announcements for Saturday
   • Evening speaker: Dave Kretzing

9:30 Vendors close.


Saturday Morning, July 16

7:00-8:30 a.m. Late check-in, dining hall entrance.

7:00 a.m. Breakfast in dining hall, check message board.

7:30-8:00 a.m. Pick up (pre-paid) bag lunches in dining hall.

8:00 a.m. Gather in field trip groups in grassy area east of Great Hall for departure at 8:30 a.m. Return at 4-4:30+.

Note: Emerald Chapter volunteers will be available during the day for late check-in.


Saturday Evening, July 16

4:30 p.m. Vendors in dining hall, socializing in dining hall and outdoors, BYO wine/beer; soft drinks provided.

5:30-9:00 p.m. Saturday Evening Banquet:
   • 5:30-6 Bar-B-Que Dinner, outside (depending on weather) and inside Great Hall
   • 7:00 Brief recap of field trips, Bruce Newhouse
   • Oregon Flora Project Sponsorship Campaign, Gail Baker
   • Announcements for Sunday
   • Welcome and induction of new State Board members
   • Keynote address by Mark Egger

9:30 Vendors close.


Sunday, July 17

7:00 a.m. Breakfast in Great Hall, check message board.

8:00 a.m. Gather in grassy area of Great Hall for field trip departure at 8:30. Return by 12:30.

8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. State Board Meeting in Great Hall. Emerald Chapter will provide snacks for Board.

1:00 pm Depart site by this time.
