NPSO 2023 Annual Meeting

Schedule

Registration ended on May 19 and is now CLOSED. Please check the Updates & Notices page regularly to keep up with the latest news and reminders about fields trips, registration, and event scheduling.

You must be registered for the meeting to attend the Friday evening mixer, the Saturday night banquet, or go on a field trip. Please note that the schedule is subject to change.

Friday, June 2

11:30am - 1:00pm: Information and Registrant Badge Pickup
Look for the NPSO tent in the Lane Community College (LCC) upper parking area (Lot L). Click here for an aerial image that shows the designated parking area for Annual Meeting events at LCC and how to get there.

1:00pm - 4:00pm: Field Trips
Meet at the designated location in LCC upper parking area (same as above). Your field trip leader will be holding a sign with your field trip name on it.

5:30pm - 8:30pm: Mixer
Held at WildCraft Cider Works. We will meet in a private room upstairs and have our own bartender and appetizers. Chapter Welcome, Announcements for Saturday.

Saturday, June 3

7:30am - 8:30am: Information and Registrant Badge Pickup
NPSO Tent in LCC Parking Lot L.

8:30am - 4:00pm: Field Trips
Meet at designated location in LCC Parking Lot (same as above). Please arrive a little early to find your trip leader and pick up your sack lunch if you ordered one.

4:30pm - 10:00pm: Vendors & Banquet at Venue 252

4:30-6:00: Cash Bar (including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks) and Vendors Open
Botanically themed sales and book rummage sale will be in front hallway and Chapter tables will be inside the dining room.

6:00: Buffet Dinner Served

6:30-7:15: Chapter Welcome and State Business

- Acknowledgement of outgoing and incoming of State Board Members

- Acknowledgement of Fellows 2020-2023

7:00: Coffee and Dessert Served

7:15-8:45: Speakers

- James Mickley: "The importance of community science, and how you can help"

- Ed Alverson: how citizen science can be used managing wildlands

8:45-9:30: Vendors Open

9:30-10:00: Vendors Take Down and Venue Close

Sunday, June 4

8:30am - 1:00pm: Field Trips
Meet at designated location in LCC Parking Lot (same as above).

9:00am - 1:00pm: Board Meeting
Held at Lane Community College, Building 16, Room 115.
