Join Cascades flora expert Tanya Harvey as she leads a trip to Grasshopper Meadows,  a very large sloping meadow north of Oakridge. We’ll make a loop around the flowery meadow on a faint trail and cut back down across the meadow, so be prepared for some off-trail hiking. After a winter without snowpack, the flowers in the mountains are well advanced, so we’ll probably be seeing flowers that usually bloom much later in the summer. There should still be plenty of butterflies and other interesting pollinators. Bring lunch, snacks, and plenty of water.
