Ramble at Mt. Pisgah wet prairie
April 12 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join Vice-President Karl Anderson on a slow walk on the east side of Mt. Pisgah. Rambles are leaderless walks where everyone looks for wildflowers and identifies them collectively. All levels of skill are encouraged to come!
This relatively flat 2 mile roundtrip walk will take us by native endemics like Willamette Valley bittercress (Cardamine penduliflora), Bradshaw’s lomatium (Lomatium bradshawii), and Oregon bog Saxifrage (Micranthes oregana). Hookedspur violet (Viola adunca) may be blooming in the upper prairie area. We’ll walk for as long as the group desires but no longer than noon.
Meet at the Pisgah Public Market on Highway 58 in Pleasant Hill to carpool to the trailhead because parking can be limited on weekends.
